(Minghui.org) Teacher Li has offered me the opportunity for cultivation, and thus, a wonderful life and a chance to be saved. I realized that in the process of my “wanting to get something,” I could cause harm to others and disturb Teacher's arrangements for me. I do not want to be a factor which disturbs the universal principles. I realize that focusing on “possession” is counter to cultivation and an attachment of pursuit. I should eliminate this attachment so I can go back to my original home.
So what is the opposite of “possession”? Paying one's debt, giving to others, being responsible, having compassion, and living a righteous life. Those behaviors are all righteous. If anyone cultivates these things successfully, he or she is great!
A cultivator should eliminate the attachments of possession and pursuit. Teacher has told us that “Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun). All lives were created by Teacher and all should be arranged by Teacher.
The above is just my personal understanding. Please kindly point out anything improper.
