Solemn Declaration

In July 2000, I was illegally arrested by local police with the cooperation of my supervisor, and was detained at a brainwashing center for one month. I had strong righteous thoughts in the beginning, but they gradually became weaker, and I unwillingly wrote a guarantee statement. At the end of the detention, I was taken back to our local police station. When my supervisor at work refused to vouch for me, the police ordered me to sign a guarantee statement again. I compromised with them because of my human notions. I have done a wrong thing and feel ashamed before Dafa and Master Li. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done that is disrespectful of Master and Dafa is null and void. I will diligently cultivate Dafa and firmly believe in Master. To doubly make up for the damage I caused Dafa, I will do the three things well. I will become an upright Dafa disciple, fulfill my prehistoric vows, and follow Master home.”

Solemn Declaration

I was illegally arrested by 610 Office agents on January 6, 2005, and was later sentenced to an eight-year jail term. I was sent to three jails in order to be “transformed.” In early 2009, officers from the Prison Management Bureau and the 610 Office brutally tortured Dafa practitioners detained in jail using vicious methods that they learned at Beijing Prison. I was again sent to another prison on June 15, 2009. The guards instigated drug abusers and active criminals to torture us, enticing them with material rewards and good merit points needed for shorter jail terms. I was brutally tortured with destructive means, and deprived of sleep for more than one month to weaken my will. I gradually lost my self-control and lessened my righteous thoughts. I finally compromised with the wicked evil and wrote a “transformation” statement due to my human notion of wanting to leave the jail alive. Although I was released ahead of schedule, I regretted what I did after I became sober-minded. I solemnly declare: “All statements I have written under cruel persecution are null and void. I will completely reject the evil's persecution. I will doubly make up for the damages to Dafa and do well the three things that a Dafa disciple should do during the Fa-rectification period. I will keep up with Fa-rectification, cultivate myself diligently, and have righteous thoughts and actions. I will walk righteously on the cultivation path arranged by Master, fulfill my vows, and complete my historic mission.”
