(Minghui.org) Shen Yun promotion has progressed into a very critical stage in some countries. Various media advertisement and professional teams have now taken a major role, with promotion in shopping malls and flyer distribution also offering valuable support.
Personally, I think Dafa disciples’ participation in the project should focus on strengthening the field of righteous thoughts. Shen Yun is not just a high-level show of performing arts, but a process of saving sentient beings with extraordinary righteous power generated through the medium of performing arts.
During such unique performances, there is also an intense battle between righteous and evil in other dimensions, and the participation of Dafa disciples and their strong righteous thoughts would effectively suppress various evil factors.
Recently, I have noticed that the rate of ticket sales in our city is not as fast as expected, as if there is something we need to break through. I would like to share some of my personal understandings with fellow practitioners.
Returning to the Basis of Doing the Three Things Well
From the Fa, we understand that Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period must do the required three things well – study the Fa, clarify the truth, and send forth righteous thoughts. Therefore, when we come across issues in Shen Yun promotion, we should also look inward on these three aspects to identify the gaps we may have.
Studying the Fa well
We understand from the Fa that the only way to maintain a good cultivation state is by truly studying the Fa well, and only then can we keep a good and steady cultivation state, which will in turn enable us to do well in our Shen Yun promotion project.
Clarifying the truth well
Actively participating in Shen Yun promotion, either via mainstream advertising, distributing flyers, or promoting Shen Yun in shopping malls, etc. are all acts of clarifying the truth to save sentient beings. As long as we base our hearts on the Fa, no matter in what form we participate, we are all playing an active role in the project.
Sending forth righteous thoughts
Shen Yun is the most important project personally led by our Master, and it corresponds to a major battle between the righteous and the evil in other dimensions. When Dafa disciples hold strong righteous thoughts, we will effectively eliminate interference from the old forces, as well as evil beings and rotten demons, and we would form a fine environment as one body for Shen Yun promotion.
The Importance of Keeping a Pure Heart in What We Do
Recently, I have noticed a common issue from sharings by fellow practitioners – sometimes, we unwittingly pay attention to “how much we have done”, such as how many emails we have sent today, how many flyers we have handed out, and how many tickets we have sold, etc.
On the surface, it looks like we are being responsible for what we do, but if we pay too much attention to statistics, we may develop attachments to pursuits or a competitive mentality, and such impure mindsets may impact the effectiveness of our promotion work.
Master said,
“If you are able to succeed in improving yourself this way, what you do then, with a pure heart, will be the best and most sacred.”(“Further Understanding,” Essentials for Further Advancement)
Everything we do should be based on “saving people” instead of “completing a task”, or “pursuing results”. If our starting points are off, it would be difficult for us to achieve good results.
We should always remind ourselves in whatever we do that our aim is to assist Master in saving people. Such a pure heart will enhance our righteous thoughts, making them even stronger and purer, and our efforts as one body would also become more effective.
Completely Negate the Old Forces
We are fully aware of interference from the old forces in other dimensions during our Shen Yun promotion. We must be very clear in our hearts: We completely negate the old forces!
If we fail to keep strong righteous thoughts and unwittingly try to “adjust ourselves in dealing with such interference”, we have in fact acknowledged the arrangements by the old forces. This is not to say that we turn a blind eye to the interference, but we must view them as a reminder for us to rectify ourselves in cultivation according to Master’s requirements.
Master does not acknowledge the old forces, and we do not acknowledge them either. The reason we look inward to rectify our shortcomings is to assist Master in Fa-rectification and to fulfill our pledge to save sentient beings, not because there is interference from the old forces. This is the fundamental difference that determines whether we follow the righteous path arranged by Master or the path arranged by the old forces.
Once we have based ourselves righteously on the Fa, the old forces would have no way to interfere with us.
Conclusion
Shen Yun promotion is also a big test of the practitioners' cultivation state. The degree of commitment and overall cooperation of Dafa practitioners, as well as how strong their righteous thoughts field is, will impact the effectiveness of the promotion project.
As long as we can study the Fa more and do it well, pay attention to sending forth righteous thoughts, maintain a pure heart, and assist Master in saving people based on Fa-rectification, our Shen Yun promotion will surely be successful.
Master told us,

When disciples have ample righteous thoughts
Master has the power to turn the tide.”

Master is watching Dafa disciples all the time and strengthening our righteous thoughts and righteous actions. Therefore, when we come across any interference, we must always keep strong righteous faith and righteous thoughts!
