(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 3 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Su Yanxia Sentenced
2. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fang Changhui Detained
3. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Wu Zhiping Illegally Detained
1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Su Yanxia Sentenced
Ms. Su Yanxia, 63, was arrested at home by Chengxi Police Station officers on the evening of July 17, 2024. She was sentenced to three and a half years in prison by Chaoyang District Court.
2. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fang Changhui Detained
Ms. Fang Changhui of Xiheya Village, Shahe Town, was arrested at home by five Laizhou City plainclothes officers on the morning of January 23, 2025. The police told her family that they were going to detain her for 13 days, but refused to tell them where.
3. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Wu Zhiping Detained
Ms. Wu Zhiping, 71, was arrested around October 9, 2024 and has been detained in Nanchang City Detention Center since. Prior to her latest arrest, she has been sentenced three times, for a total of eight years. In addition, she had been detained many times in detention centers, brainwashing centers, and mental hospitals.
