A 76-year-old woman in Qingyang City, Gansu Province, died on November 5, 2014, after suffering years of persecution for her faith in Falun Gong.
Ms. An Fengying and her two daughters both benefited from practicing Falun Gong. Her daughters were both given forced labor terms and were abandoned by their husbands. After they were released, they had no home to return to and became destitute. The older daughter was arrested again in 2014 and later sentenced to three years in prison.
Her daughters’ detentions deeply traumatized Ms. An, who also faced constant harassment from the police herself. She passed away on November 5, 2014.
