(Minghui.org) Every time a Minghui notice is issued asking for practitioners to contribute articles, practitioners say they want to write something, but they don’t know what to write. In fact, how many practitioners really read and understand the Minghui notice before they start writing?
Every year, I have the opportunity to sort out the articles from local practitioners. There are practitioners in the county and townships here, and they are generally older. The most important issue I notice is that, in previous submissions, practitioners did not write according to the requirements of the Minghui notice. It’s like a teacher assigning an essay, but students don’t follow the requirements and write whatever they want. After so many years of cultivation, we can’t always use old age as an excuse. We can’t always say that it’s normal to be confused because we are old.
Let’s look at this year’s Minghui notice: “We hope genuine Dafa disciples will write down their experiences of learning how to cultivate according to Dafa and how to improve ourselves by regarding Dafa as our teacher. We can also write down how we have compassionately helped sentient beings to learn the truth and secure a brighter future. Sharing these stories is a process of validating Dafa’s saving grace. The path of solid cultivation that each of us has walked is a manifestation of the power of the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It is also a testimony of this great, breathtaking historic period when human and divine beings co-exist.
“This call for submissions is mainly for articles but is not limited to this form. All works on the theme of commemorating World Falun Dafa Day will be considered. We hope all Dafa disciples and practitioners, as well as people from different countries and all walks of life who cherish Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance will actively participate.”
The requirement is that we should think about whether we have thought of the Fa when we've had conflicts with others this past year, and whether we have improved our xinxing as a cultivator. Whether we have studied the Fa well, and whether we have experienced the process of sublimating of our thoughts to align with the Fa's principles to improve our xinxing; and whether we have experienced overcoming tribulations that reflect the sacredness of Dafa when clarifying the truth.
Please read the call for submission several times and think about each sentence. You can connect it to the things you have done and the process of sublimation in cultivation. If you write it down, it will be a sharing article.
In particular, it is important to remember that the main readers of the previous May 13 call for submissions were ordinary people: facing “people from different countries and all walks of life who cherish Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” so that sentient beings with predestined relationships can understand the grace and mighty virtue of Dafa. I hope practitioners will cherish the opportunity.
Fellow practitioners, we should write down our experiences. It is a historical testament of our journey to the divine and a means to reach the goal of cultivation.
