(Minghui.org) With Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) practitioners continuing to clarify the truth, Chinese people are awakening. I would like to share some of the experiences I encountered.
“Look at how great Falun Gong is!”
One day while I was distributing Minghui calendars, I greeted an elderly man who had just finished buying vegetables. “Happy New Year! Here is a New Year’s gift for you—a calendar with the truth about Falun Gong.”
He put down his shopping bags to pick up the calendar and said, “I want to ask you, where did you get the funds to make these calendars?”
“To tell you the truth,” I answered, “For over 20 years, all of the Falun Gong brochures and publications you’ve received were made using our own money. Our Master told us to help save good people like you. We are willing to do this. As long as you have a chance for a bright future, this money has been well spent.”
As we were talking, a second man came and asked for a calendar. “Look at how great Falun Gong is!” The first man said to the second. “And look at the Communist Party! The Party is so corrupt and has committed all kinds of evil crimes!”
“Definitely! We all know who is good and who is bad!” said the second man.
“I really admire you!”
I was outside clarifying the truth one day, when I saw a man wearing a turtleneck vest. I greeted him, and he immediately gave me a thumbs up and said, “I really admire you! It’s been 20 years since the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) began the persecution, and you [Falun Gong practitioners] did not give in!”
“Thank you for your understanding and praise,” I replied.
He told me that he had been petitioning the government for his houses. “Everyone knows what the CCP is. I’m not afraid of it! When I was exposing their crimes, I once pointed out how they persecuted Falun Gong. The police were left speechless, so they put me in a detention center for several days!”
I asked if he was scared. “No, I wasn’t,” he replied. “I was justified. What is there to fear from them?”
“You did great! Do you want to read more materials about Dafa?”
“Sure! Please give me some!”
I gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and said, “When you finish this, please share it with more people.” He assured me that he would. I asked him how the petition on his houses went. He smiled and told me that he managed to get one of them back.
I was happy for him. I told him that he was blessed because he dared to uphold the truth and stand with dignity in the face of evil. We said our goodbyes with laughter and joy.
“The Communist Party is finished.”
A practitioner and I were on a small road when we saw an older man who appeared to be well-mannered. He was tall, strong, and in excellent spirits. We greeted him warmly, “Hello, big brother. You look so healthy!”
He told us that he was a soldier and had been working in the army. “I thought so. You look extraordinary.” I smiled. “Big brother, do you know about Falun Gong?” He said he did. When I asked if he had read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he told us that he kept a copy under his pillow.
“Have you quit the CCP?”
“I did that a long time ago!” he proudly answered.
I let out a sigh and said without much thought, “I can relax then!”
He continued, “I know clearly what the CCP is. My whole family works in the army, and we know about the CCP’s scandals. The Party is destroying our country. Falun Gong is China’s hope and China’s future!”
I gave him two thumbs up and said he was amazing. “You [Falun Gong] are the amazing ones!” he responded, while giving us a thumbs up.
When we parted ways, the man repeatedly reminded us to pay attention to safety, because, “The CCP is a group of bandits!”
My companion and I exclaimed in unison, “People are awakening!”
“I’m always looking forward to seeing you people.”
When I was clarifying the truth near a market, I met a man who was carrying vegetables. He appeared to be in his 70s. I greeted him warmly, “Are you done with shopping, big brother? I want to wish you good health and happiness!”
He replied, “As soon as I heard you, I know you are Falun Gong. You’re sincere and your greetings warm my heart. Nowadays there is no one like you [Falun Gong practitioners] who do not seek fame and fortune.”
He told me his wife had passed away and his children worked out of town. “I’m always looking forward to seeing you people. My happiest time every day is hearing you talking about how upright and wonderful Falun Dafa is!”
I was touched. I thanked him and gave him more information about Dafa. He was reluctant to part ways with us.
