(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 1 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Huaian County, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Junmei Detained
2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
3. [Dongguang County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested, Two Still Detained
4. [Chang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Pang Huixia Released from Prison
1. [Huaian County, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Junmei Detained
Ms. Guo Junmei was arrested at home on February 7, 2026, by officers from Railroad Police Station. They pried open her door, took her to the police station, and interrogated her until the next afternoon. She was detained for five days at the Zhangjiakou Lockup.
2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Two practitioners were arrested in mid-January 2026, when they were talking to villagers about the persecution of Falun Gong in Diliutun Township.
3. [Dongguang County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested, Two Still Detained
Ms. Wang Lu and Ms. Zhang Feng talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Qincun Street Market on February 13, 2026. Someone reported them. They were arrested by Qincun Town Police Station officers. Two other practitioners who were present, Ms. Xing Peiheng and Ms. Li Guirong, tried to reason with the police and were arrested as well. Ms. Xin and Ms. Li were soon released, but Ms. Wang and Ms. Zhang were held at the county detention center for 10 and 15 days, respectively.
4. [Chang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Pang Huixia Released from Prison
Ms. Pang Huixia was released on February 21, 2026, after completing a seven-year prison term.
