(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in the annual Open Streets event on Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis on June 7, 2026. They told people about Falun Dafa and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
The event was held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and spanned approximately 20 blocks along Lyndale Avenue, from 22nd to 42nd street. The section was closed to vehicles and allowed people to freely stroll or cycle along the avenue, which was lined with a wide array of stalls and featured approximately 230 exhibitors.

Practitioners distributed handmade lotus flowers and information about Falun Dafa and the persecution. Many people stopped to talk and some said they had previously heard about the persecution. When they were told that practicing Falun Dafa can relieve stress and improve one’s health, some residents said they were interested in learning more and took informational materials.
Practitioners also told people about how the Chinese Communist Party persecutes Falun Dafa, including a campaign of transnational repression that has extended into Western countries and some media.
