(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiuying and Mr. Du Xiaoxin Face Trial
2. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
3. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Haixia and Ms. Han Niya Arrested
4. [Hui County, Gansu Province] Ms. Gao Yuqin Detained
5. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Nine Practitioners Harassed
1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiuying and Mr. Du Xiaoxin Face Trial
Ms. Chen Xiuying and Mr. Du Xiaoxin were scheduled to appear in the Weicheng District Court on June 15, 2026.
2. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Sun Jingsu, Ms. Liu Xingqiao, Ms. Liu Suqiao, and Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin were arrested by plainclothes officers from Jiacun Town Police Station for distributing Falun Gong materials at a farmers market on June 9, 2026. All of their homes were ransacked. Ms. Sun and Ms. Liu Xingqiao were released that night. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Liu Suqiao were taken to the Wangdu County Lockup.
3. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Haixia and Ms. Han Niya Arrested
Ms. Han Haixia and Ms. Han Niya were arrested on June 8, 2026. Their families were stonewalled when they contacted the police for the status of their case.
4. [Hui County, Gansu Province] Ms. Gao Yuqin Detained
Ms. Gao Yuqin, a teacher at Hui County Experimental Elementary School, was arrested at work on the afternoon of May 22, 2026. She is being held in the Wudu Detention Center in Longnan City.
This is the second time in three months that Ms. Gao has been arrested. She was last arrested on March 15 while studying Falun Gong’s teaching with other practitioners. She was taken to the police station for interrogation, and her home was ransacked. She was released around 10 p.m.
5. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Nine Practitioners Harassed
Nine practitioners were harassed by officers from the Tieren Police Station, Honggang District Police Department, Ranghulu District Police Department, Chengfeng Police Station, and Longgang Police Station in early May. Some of the officers demanded to know the practitioners’ phone numbers.
The practitioners who were harassed were: Ms. Xie, in her 80s; Ren, first name and gender unknown; Ms. Li Yuelan, in her 70s; Zhang, first name and gender unknown; Ms. Wang Xiaoli; Ms. Su Guifan, 80; Ms. Wu Yuzhen, in her 70s; Wang, around 70, gender unknown; and Liu, gender known.
Ms. Wu was in a delirious state after enduring years of incarceration, torture, and harassment, but the police still took photos of her.
