(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 2 cities or counties in 2 provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Yuying, Ms. Tu Qiuyun, and Ms. Yuan Meiyun Harassed
2. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Nine Practitioners Harassed
1. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Yuying, Ms. Tu Qiuyun, and Ms. Yuan Meiyun Harassed
Ms. Liu Yuying, 85; Ms. Tu Qiuyun, 85; and Ms. Yuan Meiyun were harassed at home on July 3, 2026. Their homes were ransacked, and personal items were confiscated.
Captain Li and two officers from the Hengyang City Police Department ransacked Ms. Liu’s home. They seized her Falun Gong books, computers, printers, nearly 20,000 yuan in cash, and other personal items. They ordered her to sign a statement. When she refused to, they signed it on her behalf and left. She was forced to live away from home.
Ms. Tu’s home was ransacked by three uniformed officers and two plainclothes officers from the Nanyue District Police Department and a community clerk. They searched every room and seized a copy of Zhuan Falun. They took her to the police department for questioning and released her that evening.
Seven police officers and a community secretary ransacked Ms. Yuan’s home. They seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, a copy of Zhuan Falun, and other items. They forced her into a police car and took her to the police station to interrogate her.
2. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Nine Practitioners Harassed
Nine practitioners were harassed at the end of June 2026.
Ms. He Xiuling, Ms. Wang Qiufen, Ms. Di Huifen, and Ms. Li Lingzhi were harassed at home by officers from the Shenze Town Police Department. They photographed the practitioners as well as Ms. Li’s mother-in-law.
Ms. Xu Yunfen was harassed at home by a village official and a plainclothes officer. They pretended they were there to check gas supply and took photos of her without her permission.
Against her will, Ms. Jing Yunxiang was photographed at her mother-in-law’s funeral. Ms. Zhou Lanzhi and Ms. Rong Ju, who were at the funeral, also had their photos taken.
Ms. Wang Yan was harassed over the phone.
