Several elected officials and scholars who spoke at the event commended Falun Gong practitioners for their peaceful and rational efforts to oppose the persecution.
Guests from political, legal, and academic circles condemned the Chinese regime’s persecution and transnational repression of Falun Gong.
One rally speaker said she personally knew dozens of practitioners who lost their lives as a result of the persecution, while she herself had twice been held in a labor camp.
Yokohama residents and overseas visitors encouraged practitioners to keep raising awareness about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong in China.
