(Minghui.org) I used to be afraid to clarify the truth about the persecution to people. I’ve gradually been able to break through this fear, and go from not daring to speak to being able to clarify the truth openly and righteously. Through this process, my xinxing also improved.
Breaking Through Fear
I was monitored by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Personnel from the 610 Office, the police station, and government agencies came to my home many times to harass me. Twice, the police wanted to send me to prison, so I had no choice but to leave home. Even though I only left for a short time, it affected me psychologically and my fear became very strong. I was nervous whenever I saw police officers or police cars. When I wanted to clarify the truth I often couldn’t even open my mouth due to fear. Before I’d even said a word my heart was already pounding.
I was seriously afraid that I would lose my job because I talked to people about the persecution. However, I knew that this was my mission as a Falun Dafa practitioner and I couldn’t let fear block my cultivation path. I had to move forward.
I intensified my efforts to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate my fear. I repeatedly recited “What’s There to Fear” from Hong Yin II:
“If you have fear, they will grab youOnce your thought is righteous, evil will collapsePeople practicing cultivation, filled with FaSending righteous thoughts, exploding rotten ghostsGods are in the world, validating Fa”
I felt my fear becoming smaller, while my righteous thoughts became stronger. I then went out with local practitioners to clarify the truth and I was eventually able to go out by myself. Initially, I helped about one person a day withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Then it became a few people a day, and then sometimes more than a dozen.
I’m a doctor, so whenever I have the opportunity, I clarify the truth to my patients and ask them to quit the CCP organizations. During ward rounds, I clarify the truth to patients and their family members. Since I’m their doctor, it’s easier for them to trust me and agree to withdraw.
At the beginning of the persecution, people were terrified by the CCP’s fabricated Tiananmen Square self-immolation. I explained it from a medical perspective and helped resolve their doubts. I said, “The self-immolation was fabricated as propaganda to slander Falun Dafa and deceive the Chinese people. In the video, the young girl, Liu Siying, was able to sing right after having a tracheotomy. Medically, that is absolutely impossible. The trachea is a very delicate part of the body. After a tracheotomy, even after two years of recovery, a person still can’t speak normally. Yet she was able to speak and sing after only two days!”
I explained this to patients, their family members, and people visiting patients. Very few of them refused to withdraw from the CCP. The CCP’s lies that slander Dafa cannot withstand scrutiny, and just a few sentences can remove people’s mental barriers.
My husband was a government official. He had liver cancer, ascites (abnormal fluid in the abdomen), brain necrosis, and other serious conditions and would vomit blood. The government spent a tremendous amount on his medical treatment, and the hospital issued five critical-condition notices. When he was on the verge of death, my niece played Master’s Dalian City Fa lectures for him. Miraculously, he opened his eyes. He was able to drink a little rice porridge and soon he could sit up, get out of bed and walk. He was transferred from the intensive care unit to a regular ward and less than a month later, he returned home. He could eat and drink, and everything was fine. I often use this example when clarifying the truth, and it has a very good effect.
I realized that when we clarify the truth, we must explain things thoroughly.
Everyone in our hospital knew that I practiced Dafa and that I was a good person. I clarified the truth to doctors, nurses, temporary workers, and janitorial staff. Before I resigned, I clarified the truth to the hospital director and the deputy director. They happily agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
Over the years I worked at several other places. No matter where I was, I tried to tell people about the persecution.
Clarifying the Truth at a Military Hospital
I was the director of the gynecology outpatient department at a military hospital.
The CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa was very severe in the military, and they didn’t let anyone who practiced work there. I realized that I couldn’t be selective when clarifying the truth. It’s our responsibility to help Master save people. I strengthened my efforts to send forth righteous thoughts, eliminating the evil factors that interfered with people learning the truth, and creating an environment to clarify the truth. Whenever I had an opportunity, I talked to patients, soldiers, and support staff.
One day, my medical assistant came in, closed the door and said quietly, “Director, someone reported you for telling people about Falun Dafa, and it reached the hospital director. The person who reported you said, ‘How can there still be someone practicing Falun Dafa in the military?’ The director was furious and cursed angrily. He talked to the person responsible for recruiting you, ‘I asked you to recruit a doctor, and you recruited a Falun Dafa practitioner! This is very serious!’”
I was calm. I went to an empty room and sent forth righteous thoughts. I asked Master to strengthen me and eliminate this interference. I absolutely refused to acknowledge the old forces’ arrangements to destroy people. I repeated to myself, “I am Master Li Hongzhi’s disciple. I do not accept anyone else’s arrangements. I ask Master to take charge.” That same day, the situation changed—another organization that was recruiting offered me a job, so I immediately packed up and left.
Three months later, I heard the hospital director had unfortunately passed away. It was very regrettable that, in that harsh environment, I didn’t have the opportunity to clarify the truth to him.
My assistant had a positive attitude toward Dafa and after I left she transferred to another hospital and got a permanent job.
I Rejoice When Sentient Beings Are Saved
One day when there was heavy snow, I took a taxi to work. The taxi driver was a young man and I learned that he was a demobilized soldier and a CCP member. I asked him, “Have you heard about withdrawing from the CCP?” He said yes, but he hadn’t withdrawn.
I told him about the fabricated Tiananmen Square self-immolation and why people should withdraw from the CCP. I said, “When you joined the CCP, you raised your fist and said that you would devote your life to communism. Now disasters are increasing year after year. Divine beings will soon eliminate this evil Party. Aren’t you in danger? You must quickly withdraw from it.” He said, “Auntie, please help me withdraw.” I told him I could give him a pseudonym and help him withdraw. He said, “I want to use my real name!”
After I got out of the taxi and started walking, he rolled down the car window and shouted loudly, “Auntie, don’t forget to help me withdraw!” I felt very happy that he was saved, and my heart was filled with gratitude toward Master.
In the summer of 2024, I went to a women’s clothing store to clarify the truth. There were four employees in the store, one of whom was the store manager. I said to her, “My child, has anyone ever told you about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations?” She said she hadn’t. Just as I was about to explain, she turned around and shouted to the other three employees, “Hey, all of you come over here. Auntie is going to tell us about Falun Dafa.”
I then explained to them what Dafa is, why it is being persecuted by the CCP, the inside story of the self-immolation, and why people should withdraw from the CCP organizations. I told them that Dafa has spread to more than 100 countries, and that remembering “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” will bring blessings. They listened attentively and kept nodding. In the end, they said, “Auntie, we understand now. Please help us withdraw.”
Before leaving, I gave each of them a truth-clarification booklet and an amulet. They said, “Auntie, come and see us often. We love listening to you.”
At the end of the year, when the truth-clarification calendars came out, I went out to distribute them. When I passed the women’s clothing store, I went inside. The employees were very happy and said, “Auntie is here! Come in quickly,” and offered me a seat. I gave them the truth-clarification calendars and other material. They said happily, “Auntie always brings us good things.”
After all these years, although I helped Master save many people, I still feel there are so many people who do not know the truth. I wish that everyone could understand the truth and be saved. At the same time, I also feel that, in my own cultivation, there are still many human attachments that have not been removed. I am determined to cultivate diligently, and return to my true origin with Master.
