Nineteen Members of Parliament took part in an event on Parliament Hill to show their support and to join in celebrating the 34th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction.
Falun Dafa practitioners demonstrated the exercises, played musical instruments, and sang songs to celebrate Falun Dafa and to thank Master Li for introducing the practice.
As practitioners did the exercises together, passersby joined in and many people, of all ages, learned about the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa.
“By honoring World Falun Dafa Day, we affirm Omaha’s commitment to human rights and the values that foster a more harmonious and compassionate society.”
The activities, to introduce Falun Dafa and raise awareness of the persecution, received great public support, with many people signing a petition calling for the persecution to end.
