(Minghui.org) I’m 60 years old, and I live in a small town. I have been telling people about Falun Dafa and clarifying the truth about the persecution in many different ways: I write letters, make phone-calls, distribute materials, talk to people in person, and post stickers. Under benevolent Master’s protection I’ve steadfastly cultivated for 26 years.
Mailing Letters
After the April 25 appeal in 1999, I wrote six letters to upper level officials to tell them the facts about Falun Dafa, and I also wrote to other people. After more than 20 years, the post office changed its rules, so I was only able to mail a few letters over the past two years.
I mailed numerous letters before September 2012. Not only did I mail them myself, I shared the letters with other practitioners so they could mail them. In September 2012, high-definition surveillance cameras were installed at local intersections and near mail boxes, so I mailed the letters myself. After the COVID pandemic, I resumed mailing letters in the second half of 2020. Each time, I sent forth righteous thoughts and memorized the Fa to make sure they were delivered.
Each envelope included a hand-written letter and two flyers about the persecution. The letters included information on Order No. 50 of the General Administration of Press and Publication issued on March 1, 2011; how high-ranking officials who were involved in persecuting Falun Gong, such as Bo Xilai and Wang Lijun, were arrested; how to keep safe during the pandemic; and other topics.
I wrote a letter to an official in our city who actively participated in the persecution. I did not accuse the person and the feedback was quite good.
I sent letters to public security officials, prosecutors, court officials, community workers, prison staff, detention center staff, leaders of various units, and village officials. I wrote about practitioners listed on the Minghui website who were urgently needed help and regular practitioners. Every time a new official was appointed locally (e.g., the police chief, the secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, the captain of the Domestic Security Division, county head, etc). I wrote them a letter.
I included a small card with a link to truth-clarifying videos. I gave numerous letters to practitioners in other areas to mail, and I did this for more than two years.
In the spring of 2021, several practitioners in another city were arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials When I saw the name of that city’s captain of the Domestic Security Division published on the Minghui website, I wrote him a letter and made sure he received it.
Clarifying the Truth Via Mobile Phone
In Autumn 2011 a practitioner gave me a mobile phone and asked me to work with another practitioner to use it to clarify the truth. Since then, I’ve either called people directly or sent prerecorded messages to help people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I send SMS, MMS, or I post on WeChat. I also send truth-clarifying videos.
I called those who responded well and asked them to quit the CCP and its youth organizations.
I played voice recordings for the police chief, captain of the Domestic Security Division, 610 Office personnel, and others who were listed on Minghui.org for persecuting Dafa practitioners. Although they only listened to a few sentences, these calls also served as a deterrent. I once called a police station and played truth-clarifying recordings for more than 20 minutes. I also called my relatives whom I hadn’t been able to help quit the CCP, and the results were quite good.
In April 2015, I started clarifying the truth on WeChat. I initially used a non-smart phone. I later got a smart phone and was able to send texts, pictures, truth-clarifying recordings. and videos. I sent voice recordings and videos that I downloaded from the Minghui.org website. There were also videos of reports from NTD Television. I could also answer questions I received from the people I contacted. One person wanted to quit the Party but did not reply directly, so I told him, “If you agree to quit the CCP, send me a smiling face emoji and I will use your WeChat name to help you do it.” He immediately sent me a smiling face emoji.
Due to the CCP’s internet blockade, I couldn’t send the videos I originally downloaded. So I converted them with a software before I sent them, but that also took a lot of time. During the COVID pandemic, the information blockade situation was quite serious. But with Master’s empowerment, I was still able to send out a lot of information about the pandemic and ways to stay safe.
On April 23, 2020, my truth-clarification on WeChat came to an end when all the WeChat accounts were blocked. Other truth-clarifying software was created. I still send truth-clarifying videos every day. The mobile phone that I use is a specialized mobile phone that I got more than a decade ago. Its sim card was purchased more than a decade ago with an alias.
Putting Up Truth-Clarifying Stickers
This April, the Minghui website published stickers that read “The CCP is an evil cult.” I did not pay much attention to it until I read other practitioners’ sharing articles on the Minghui website. Only then did I understand that stickers that read “The CCP is an evil cult” and “The CCP is not China” reflected a change in the progress of Fa-rectification, so I went out to put them up. It was a little nerve-wracking at first, but I gradually calmed down.
One night, I went under a bridge where people went to relax. When I thought everyone had left, I put up a sticker. Then, I heard someone coughing behind me. I was calm and just kept walking. Another time, I noticed a steady stream of people strolling along a dam. I waited until everyone left at 9 p.m., pasted a sticker on a pillar, and slowly walked away.
Because there are surveillance cameras everywhere, I would move on after I’d put up a few stickers, and I never wore the same clothes. Sometimes, I would put up stickers in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, and sometimes in the evening. I would put them where people came to rest, such as pavilions or in corridors. Most of them were put up in the residential district where I live. I put up about five or six every day.
In this chaotic era, I deeply feel that I am so fortunate to practice Falun Dafa. I can only repay Master by becoming more diligent, cultivating myself well, and helping him save more people.
